hot (&Holy) Communion

Within a deliciously contained vessel made of utmost tenderness and safety…

And in exquisitely restrained doses...

And going only to their most pleasurable edge…

HEAT players are offered, and offer up, the chalice of their deepest fears and darkest shames. And in the presence of unconditionally loving and supportive witnesses: they alchemize these base materials into grace-soaked gold.

HEAT is partnered and group shadow play at its finest.

Part confession.

Part rite of passage.

Part initiation.

Pure magic.

"HEAT  is unlike any game you’ve ever played before, and definitely not for the prim and proper. One of the most potent channels. And it all feels so good and nourishing because it’s consensual and safe.  I’m getting excited just thinking about it."

Leslie Quigless

Heat Co-Creatrix

Leslie is a meditation teacher who created Inquiry Meditation, â€‹a modality of embodied liberation.

She also is a storyteller who writes fiction and creative nonfiction.

To all of her work,  she brings the orientation of an artist.

For Leslie, it's what HEAT is all about: making searingly beautiful art of the spaces inside us that have been labeled "forbidden," "can't see," "too much," or simply: "no".

Each HEAT game is a humbling encounter with Mystery. Each game is its own radiant jewel. We listen to each other, we create a space of ultimate play, and through our loving play, we receive the alchemizing, transformative gift of hot, hot grace.

Liz Rafert

HEAT Co-Creatrix

Liz is a perennially curious human with a Masters degree in Biomedical Science, a Montessori teaching certificate, and an almost-complete Sex, Love, and Relationship coaching certification. She has trained with Kasia Urbaniak, Layla Martin, and Mama Gena; she is also technically an international jiu jitsu champion (Masters 3, white belt). She has a special interest in embodiment and trauma healing, and particularly healing trauma through pleasure and in community.

She navigated the loss of her father, her first-born, and a former lover all by the age of 33, which has to be some kind of Jesus-level hat trick. She also has experience with addiction and suicidality, both personally and within intimate relationships. Liz brings unconditional approval and warmth to all of their sessions.

Special thanks to Kasia Urbaniak

We want to thank and honor the brilliant Kasia Urbaniak, whose "Rigged No" exercise provides the structural features during Phase I  of the HEAT  game. These features keep players anchored in their bodies and in a state of moment-to-moment somatic choice--and thus, in deeply embodied empowerment and freedom.

In celebrating Kasia's genius, we are celebrating HEAT's incredible "bone structure," which has allowed the game to soar to fantastic heights, fulfill her unique expression, and offer profound somatic healing  to all who dare touch her flames.
